Jack C. Winslow was a prolific Oxford Group writer on Oxford Group principles. Winslow’s writings were recommended in Sam Shoemaker’s Calvary Evangel. And, in 1938, Winslow wrote a title, When I Awake, which bore this statement on its cover: “This book deals with the time of private Prayer which it is essential all Christians should keep, morning by morning, if they desire to go forward in the Christian life.”
