Signed by Bill W. Green Alcoholics Anonymous 1st Edition 3rd Printing - 1943 - ODJ
This is a 1st Edition 3rd Printing big book from 1943 with an original dust jacket. This book features GREEN boards. This book has been inscribed and signed by Bill Wilson.
At the top of the dedication page is the signature of John & Ethel, dated 1942. We believe that this was Ethel M. from Akron, Ohio. She was one of the first women in the program. Her story appeared in the second edition big book and was titled From Farm To City.
The inscription by Bill W.:
“How well It has been shown that Faith with Works is alive”. Bill Wilson 11/21/41
The overall condition of the book is very good as is the original dustjacket. The book may have had some restoration to the binding because at some point it was taken apart and reinforced which is indicated by two additional blank pages (one in the front and one in the back of the book). Nevertheless an exceptional find and a very nice inscription by AA cofounder Bill W.
Please view all of the photos for the conditions.
