This book is extremely RARE! This is the First Printing of the First Edition of the book from 1950. This book has its original dust jacket.
It is in very good condition. The book is fully intact with no torn or missing pages. The spine is firm and intact. There is some light wear to the edges of the cover. There is writing on the first couple pages and a return address label on the title page. There is a paper clip stuck on page 9 and some underlining in a few pages in the book. The dust jacket has been torn into two separate pieces with the spine and a portion of the front cover missing. There are other smaller tears to the jacket as well.
Marty Mann is well known as the first woman to enter AA and to stay sober. She founded the National Council on Alcoholism and devoted her life to helping alcoholics and raising awareness.
