This is a “wartime printing” which is the smallest version of the first edition big books. The Seventh printing was intended to be a wartime printing in January 1945 but due to printing errors, the 8th Printing started in February 1945 with the corrections.

This book is in fair to good condition. There is wear to the covers and the spine. The gold lettering on the spine is faded away. There are markings throughout the book and writing in the last several pages of the book.
