This book is an extremely RARE one of a kind book! This book came from Charles Clapp Jr.’s personal library. This book has been inscribed by the author Marty Mann to Charles Clapp Jr.

Charles Clapp Jr. was an Oxford Grouper, who AA founder Bill W had helped get sober in October of 1935. Clapp had been associated with Sam Shoemaker and the Oxford Group, but could not stay sober until he got help from Bill. Clapp was from Bedford Hills. Clapp is the author of the books: “The Big Bender”, “Drinking’s Not The Problem”, and “Drunks are Square Pegs”.

The inscription from Marty Mann reads: “For Charles Clapp Jr., In appreciation of his book for which this provides a companion piece. And with gratitude and affection. Marty Mann. Oct. 1950”

This is the First Printing of the First Edition of the book from 1950. This book has its original dust jacket.

This book is in excellent condition. The book is fully intact with no torn or missing pages. There is minimal wear to the cover. There is no writing or markings inside the book other than the inscription on the first page. The dust jacket has experienced some edge wear with a tear at the spine.
